Writers cramp prompt entry - or would have been had I figured out how to enter!
An employment advert like I've never seen before
was just nailed upon 10 Downing Streets staff entrance door -
"Wizards, Warlocks, Witches, all the wonderfully wierd,
help to shape the face behind the governmental beard.
Behind the scenes we're seeking intervention of a kind -
for to save our souls, there are some people we must bind!"

So, with that in mind, off home I go to think it through.
What is motivating me?  And with it - what to do?

Now, this is no ordinary job I may apply for -
why, this is a job that many magic folk would die for!
But, such placement comes with great responsibility,
and should not be used for personal facility.

I knocked up my C.V. based on my own expectations
of what I may need to fulfil any obligations.

Governments need people-power
to keep their positions
Fortune bids that I exceed
in people-pulling missions

Me as favourite applicant
may sound - to some - outrageous
But appearing as I'm not
is greatly advantageous
If you do reject me
this could be disasterous -
magic folk are in demand,
all sides are after us.

Employ me and you will see
the governmental gain.
What I am, you do not have,
and cannot clone my brain.
Grant one set of seasons to me
and I'll prove my worth.
(In return with tricks I'll learn
I'll conquer planet earth!)
