Just a slight insight on fear
Breathing comes in harsh pulls,
Blood drips from open wounds.
When did this begin?
and why?

A cough bringing only pain,
a blade that called my name.
A week ago this fear set in,
and I bleed the fear away.

Checking self, diagnosis,
cancer a big option.
A taste of blood in my mouth,
what's happened?

Every harsh cough,
sends pain in my back.
This makes no sense!
I yell within.

My blade licked up my arm,
the fear I had to disarm.
I didn't bleed as much as planned,
but I don't need to end just yet.

this fear grips my throat again,
waken up choking on air.
Every breath is harder,
the fear burns freely.

Afraid to take the walk to school,
the cough gets harsher.
No medicine is working,
the fear is winning.

So thats how I got here,
Bottle in one hand, blade in the other.
Take a nice sweet sip,
make one nice cut.

I can feel myself fading,
but I'm not scared.
The cough isn't winning,
though its to late to save me.
