Darkness Overcomes

_{As I sit here and look off into the darkness, my mind drifts far away, as far as the nothingness, as the darkness overcomes I close my eyes.
It will just be a matter of time now, but I let my mind wander the thoughts of what I should have said or done.
But that will never be. It will just be a matter of time now.
Everyday I look forward to the darkness, the light of the day is to bright, for I have nothing to be joyful for since I've lost everything that meant the most to me in the world.
Now the rain falls onto my face as I'm looking out,
The pain will all be over soon, as I sit and look out into the darkness I am left with the same thought.
I'm still here, & you're still gone, & no matter hard I try to forget you, you'll always be there.
My heart has hurt for the last time as the poison goes through my veins for it is time to come to an end, my eyes close for the last time in the darkness.}
