Bird's Song

Bird's song fills the air
Cardinals, swallows, morning doves
their voices unite, forming a sweet, high-pitched harmony
of tweets and twitters and chirps
A soft, luscious melody that falls upon the breeze
and is carried to my ears
elegant notes ripple through the otherwise silent air, creating beautiful lullabies that almost lull me to sleep
Their songs fill my dreams , playing over and over in my head
A humming bird's wings flapping, a blue jay's mating call, a crow's caw
Nature's gentle song rings through the air, overpowering most else
until everything is coated in the delicious trills of bird song
