Why did I have to start
When I knew it wouldn’t go far
You had a place in my heart
that came like a shooting star
staying forever more
I’ve cared for you since

So Satan can’t lead me away

saying it was to hard

while it all seemed doomed

gospels truth and light

up into eternal glory

and remain who I am
when I made promises
