A POEM OF MY FEELINGS FOR SOMEONE FROM MY PAST
SILENT TEARS...

HERE WE ARE AGAIN, JUST THE TWO OF US

NOT WANTING TO LET GO,

BUT KNOWING THAT EVERYTHING IS OUT OF REACH.

I FEEL THE SADNESS RISING FROM WITHIN,

WHILE YOU FIGHT THE URGE TO JUST GIVE IN.

I KNEW THIS DAY WOULD COME,

WHEN WE MUST SAY OUR GOOD-BYES...

IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME,

BUT AT LEAST I TRIED.

NOW THE TEARS STREAM DOWN MY CHEEK,

AS YOU JUST SIT THERE NOT EVEN SAYING A PEEP.

YOU WATCH ME AS I SLOWLY DIE FROM A BROKEN HEART,

NO ONE KNOWS HOW MUCH I CARE FOR YOU.

MY LOVE FOR YOU IS DEEPER THAN THE SEA

AND TALLER THAN THE MOUNTAINS.

BUT YOU SAID YOU DON'T NEED ME,

AS YOU RAN TO THE ARMS OF ANOTHER...

BUT IN REALITY YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU NEED.

NOW AS I SIT HERE, A YEAR HAS PASSED,

AND I'M STILL SITTING HERE IN THE DARK

WONDERING WHY THIS LOVE FOR YOU STILL LASTS;

IN MY MIND, I KNOW YOUR GONE,

BUT IN MY HEART, YOU'RE STILL THE ONE.

SO NOW AS I SIT ALL ALONE,

HOPING THAT ONE DAY MAYBE YOU'LL PHONE;

I AM STILL CRYING THESE SILENT TEARS,

I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE DIED,

WHEN I DIED LAST YEAR...
