My wishing it was winter
The heat burns
Wet, discomfort
A cooling voice
Calls me away

Winter dreams
In my mind
Bring relief
To this desert land

Too much green
Long for white
Hate the sweat
Want the chill

Not much longer
Winter walks
A sweet embrace
Soon to come
