A little something personal
My mind likes games
And plays them on myself
Too long alone and marbles start to fall
I lose my mind
No one to blame at all
I’ll tell you I’m fine
But it’s all in my head
But then one day
“I sat watching a flower
As it was withering
I was embarrassed by its honesty” (Connor O’berst, No Lies Just Love)
So I asked myself
Which would I rather be remembered as?
A smiling face
Or thing fucking wreck that has taken its place
