wash away the pain. cleanse myself of the filth.
Step into the shower to cleanse myself of this misery
Pain seems to build up on the fragile surface of my skin
No longer can I stand this filth I have to rid myself
Until it starts to bleed scrub this lathered body full of sin

Unable hold my brittle self up any longer
My broken frame falls against the cold tiled wall
Drenching myself in the downpour desperate of purification
My bones weaken every second that I’m huddled in this stall

I feel so leaden inside I just want to collapse
Nothing will wash away this despair weighing me down
Let the water run and flood this casket of a tub
Sink down towards the bottom close my eyes and drown
