For my dog Tank
I adopted a big black dog because he looked sweet.
Little did I know my carpet he would eat.
I begged and pleaded for this dog, you see.
Now he shakes his head and flings slobber all over me.
He is the cutest doggie I’ve ever seen.
He ate a big hole in the back door screen.
He keeps running away and we have to fetch him back.
I’m pretty sure he ate my favorite hat.
This dog will not come when he hears his name.
When I try to play fetch, he acts like he’s lame.
He chew's on this and nibble's on that.
He pee and poo's where ever he's at.
Be carful what you wish for they say.
I did not listen; now I pay.
