Empty Shells

On the outside, we are laughter, and smiles,
On the inside, we are hatred, and jealously,
We lie, just to lie,
We hurt, just to hurt,
Everything we do, we do because we can,
We don’t care about others,
We don’t know compassion or love,
We only know pain and sorrow,
Deception and envy,
Lies and trickery,
Hatred and wrath,
Rage and pride,
Gone are our feelings,
Gone our hearts,
No longer can we love,
No longer can we feel,
We’ve wasted away,
To shells of ourselves,
Shells full of evil.
