Once upon a time,
I'd think of how much I needed you,
And without me asking you so,
You'd be by my side.

Once upon a time,
You accepted loved both the good and the bad,
And you loved who I was,
You'd take my faults in your stride.

Once upon a time,
I thought we had a fairytale friendship,
One that would last forever,
Beyond the turn of the world,

Once upon a time,
I really and truly believed,
That once upon a time,
Meant our friendship would always be that real.

Whatever happened, I don't know,
But I know I don't want to be another character in your show,
The world how you now make it out to be,
Full of lies and deceit and hypocrisy,
Now I'm forced to face the truth of a reality I never wanted to know,
That when you write in the book of life and start with "Once Upon a Time"
You won't always finish with "Happily Ever After"

That changed my best friend completely,
Turned you against me.

And changed how we used to be,

You still can't see what you are doing,
The many ways that I can count how you've changed,
