So its clear these words you read or hear
are not poetic I fear
but the emotions that bring me tear

You see I look at you
and see what I am not
and will never be
Truly there can never be a you and me

Only in my dreams do you love me
but when I see the reality
streams do flood with tears
as I wonder is there anybody who cares

It is your blue eyes
that makes my feelings so true
Even though I know
