A tear drop for you I will never cry,
Another thought of you will slowly die,
The memories of us I will hold dearly,
Even if you don't believe me it's meant sincerely,


A lie told to another lover,
To hide the truth a silent cover,
truth you will never find within,
The darkest of all beautiful sins,


A kiss, a whisper told here and there,
A meeting to end that love affair,
To keep the peace they will never know,
So hard our masks the truth won't show,


Strip the layers and you will see,
The silence of what was you and me,
Like fragile glass it's only a matter of time,
Before you are no longer mine,


Here I lay with words alone,
Your face in mind and thoughts unknown,
