under the toadstool

It was a hot sunny afternoon in hazle creek. Allie Rome was in her backyard by the patch of toadstools. She enjoyed looking at them because she thought they were sooo pretty. She started to really observe them though and saw something very interesting. A small creature with dark brown hair, bangs across her face and wings! She had wings! Allie was shocked that she saw what she saw. She tried to reach out and touch it but the creature let out a scream and glided back under the cover of the toadstools.
How could that be she wounderd? Was that a fairy?! At that very moment she made up her mind. When she was younger her mom told her the magic happend at night. Well, what would happen if Allie came back at night ? Would a fairy come back out of  hiding?

The next time Allie came out of her house was at 11:oopm. She snuck out to the toadstools. She carried with her a lantern so she could see
