She was the one who loved me,
No matter what I did,
She is someone who's always there,
From her nothing I hid,
She'd offer me her wisdom,
Teach me the things that mothers do,
It didn't matter what it was,
She'd try to guide me threw,
She is the one who stood by my side,
No matter how bad it got,
She was the one who always saved my butt,
And lemme tell you that was allot,
I could always count on her,
To tell me how it was,
The one who always stood proud at my side,
Sometimes simply just because,
She was always in my corner,
She was my biggest fan,
The one who'd tell me it would be OK,
Things don't always go as we plan,
The one I could always count on,
To be at the other end of the phone,
Who could tell that something was wrong,
Simply by hearing my voices tone,
Teaching all those things that a mother does
Someone so special someone my best-friend,
That's who my mother was..
