Raeven:The Historian and Raiyne continued
Chapter 5
Opening Night

“So what have we learned about Raiyne’s personality?” Raeven asked David as they drove up to the club. “I think it is bigger than the one in Russia.” David said with excitement in his voice. The LAPD had streets blocked creating a two block perimeter. As they walked into the club the music shook the ground and permeated the air. The aromatic stench of alcohol floated through the air, perfectly mixing in with the colognes and perfumes being so strongly worn. “Damn, this one is a hell of a lot more fancy than that Russian dump.” David boasted over the loud music. Raeven laughed, “Just remember what we are really here for babe.” “Sure thing.” he acknowledged as he went to the bar and ordered a drink. Raeven walked through the crowd looking at everyone, seeing if she could notice someone suspicious. She felt someone touch her shoulder, “Hey baby, you’re looking damn hot tonight. Can I buy you a drink?” “No you can’t. Just walk away.” “Look sweetheart, I get what I want. I saw you and want you so guess what, “ he grabbed both her arms and pinned them against her body, “I am getting you. Right f*cking now.” “No your not, and you wont be getting any at all tonight.” “Bullsh*t b*tch, I get what I want when I want it.” She kneed him I the crotch, then grabbed his testicles and squeezed, “I told you your not getting it from me or anyone else tonight. With one quick strike of her hand she knocked him out cold and left him lying on the dance floor.
“Mr. Caine, The owner has extended an invitation to join her in the VIP lounge.” David turned to see a very harsh looking man wearing a very expensive looking suit. “Sure why the hell not, did she say why she wants me to join her?” “No Mr. Caine.” “Sure…first I have to find my wife.” “We have already taken that liberty sir.” “Better be the only damn liberty you take with her.” and David followed the sharply dressed harsh looking security detail to an elevator, they went to the third floor. David couldn’t believe the immaculate lounge, it was bigger than his three bedroom apartment in New York. “Ah, Mr. Caine, I am very pleased that you accepted my offer.” “No problem, where is my wife. I was told that you sent for her as well.” He heard the elevator open, turned to see Raeven walking toward him. “What the hell is going on?”
David turned Raeven toward Raiyne who was pouring herself a drink. When Raiyne turned to face them she dropped her drink and seemed to stop breathing. “What the hell is happening here? Is this some kind of sick joke?” Raiyne said sternly. She stepped up to Raeven and looked her over, “My God, it’s like looking in a mirror.” She touched Raeven’s face and just sighed, “Leave us, NOW!” she proclaimed to her security detail. They all quietly and quickly left the room. As she removed her hand from Raeven’s face, “How is this possible? We could be twins. Can I offer you a drink?” Raeven stood there just as stunned as Raiyne, David spoke up, “Yes please, a couple Bloody Mary.” “Sure.” “Can you use real blood?” “Raiyne looked back at him, “You serious?” David led Raeven to the couch, “Yes.”
Raiyne sat down across from Raeven and David, “How is it you look just like me?” “That isn’t the thing you need to be asking. A better question is, why did you use real blood in making these drinks?” Raiyne looked surprised, “The same reason he asked for real blood and you have no problem drinking it.” “Raiyne, do you remember anything about your father?” “I don’t get what this has to do with anything.” “Raiyne your mother was killed on the night of your birth, and you was put into a special government program for orphaned children.” “How the hell you know all that?” Raeven grabbed Raiyne’s hand, “Raiyne, you are my sister.” “Who was your biological father Raeven? Do not f*ck with me on this sh*t.” “My father’s name was Dante Irousla. Your father’s name is Akuma.” “How do you know all that.” “Look Raiyne, Akuma has went on a rampage. He is starting a war against the humans, just like the one he started centuries ago.” “My father is alive?” “Yes, he is very dangerous.” Raiyne got up and walked around, “Raeven, I have wondered for years what I was, I knew I was different when I started school. I did some research and I think I am a halfblood or something like that. You know…..” “ You’re a vampire, human half breed?” “Yes I am, I have accepted that. I tried to make contact with Akuma but he just threw me to the curb.”
“Raeven, damn it. I don’t know what to believe anymore, I decided the best way to deal with everything was to pour my life into work.” “Come here Raiyne, I can show you the truth.” “How?” “Bite me, drink my blood.” Raiyne looked questioningly at her, “Are you serious?” Raeven nodded to her, and she walked over and bit in to Raeven’s wrist.

In Aitheina’s den

“Aeitheina, I have returned with the elders.” the Historian announced as he entered her den. Something didn’t feel right to him, he scanned the whole area. Nothing, no servants or food or celebrations like before. He approached her throne cautiously, unaware of Zaeo’s actions. He felt a sharp prick on the back of his neck, he slowly turned around. “What have you done?” Zaeo smiled as he tossed his hood back, “I have waited forever for this moment, I will finally have my power.” “You are a fool, you do not know the implications of you actions?” “Oh yes I do.” the Historian looked behind Zaeo and saw the bodies of Kraiken and Sephar.
“Master!” a very tall, dark man stepped from the shadows wearing a black cloak that flowed freely behind him. He was carrying Aeitheina on his shoulder, tossed her at the Historian’s feet. “Now I know you can’t stop me from killing Aeitheina. So you have to set back and watch me slaughter her.” He turned his sword over and over in his hand, “You know that Akuma is my son, Historian?” the Historian looked shocked, “Oh yes. Aeitheina here, well you know for a fact that she is my sister.” “You didn’t, how could this have been hidden from me?” “Yes I did, I had so much fun doing it too. And anything can be hidden in plain site, even from you.” “Why have you done this?” “Because I will have what is mine, and that is power.” He raised his sword and smiling decapitated Aeitheina. “As you waste your time here Historian I am amassing a great army in the world above.” With that the Historian flew from the chamber in rage, busting through the concrete ceiling above and the road and flew into the night.

The Coven

Raiyne looked stunned as she stumbled backwards, “Is this all for real?” “Yes,” Raeven said as she walked over to hug Raiyne, “I know exactly what you’re feeling, I felt the same way.” Raiyne looked out the giant two way mirror overlooking the club, “Sh*t!” “What is it, what’s wrong?” “They are here?” Raeven walked to the window, “Who is here?” She pointed, “Them, the ones by the bar.” Raeven recognized Akuma and the tall man wearing the cloak but not the other one with them. There was a knock on the door of the VIP lounge, “Who is there? Identify yourself.” Raeven and David drew their guns as the door opened, “Raeven don’t act in haste.” come a familiar voice. “Historian, what are you doing here?” He walked to the large window, “The man in the cloak there is Zepharia, the other man with Akuma is Zaeo. “ “Who are they?” “Zepharia is Akuma’s protector and Zaeo is Akuma’s father but Akuma doesn’t know that” Raiyne still shocked didn’t know what to do. Historian turned to Raiyne, “Did you come here in your Helicopter?” “Yes, it is still on the roof.” “We need to get out of here now, Raiyne we are going to have to use it.” “Ok, I suppose.” They all headed to the roof where the helicopter was already warming up. Within seconds they was in the air. “Historian, What the hell was they doing there?” “Forming their army, they are fixing to wage war on the human race.” “My God.” Raiyne said, “Ok, David and Raeven, my sister, is vampires. What are you?” she asked looking at the Historian. “I am a protector, an angel sent to keep a record of everything that happens on this earth. I am older than time itself and have witnessed the greatest and most gruesome events that has directly influenced this world.” “This is to much to fast.” Raiyne said as she fainted.
“Pilot we are going to Rome, I want you to land inside the Coliseum.” the Historian instructed. “Sir we can’t make it all the way to Rome even if we had a full tank.” “Don’t worry pilot, I have some naval friends that will allow us to land and refuel on their ships.” “Ok, Ma’am.”

Chapter 6
The Coliseum
Raiyne began coming to as the helicopter landed in the middle of the Coliseum. “Where the hell are we?” David helped Raiyne up, “We are in Rome.” Raiyne just shook her head trying to shake off the grogginess. The Historian had already made his way to the darkened corridors of the Coliseum, he motioned for them to follow him. As they walked toward him Raeven heard the all to familiar growl of the Historian’s guards but instead of attacking them this time they stood watch and let them pass by. They hurried down the hidden staircase into the chambers below, “Please hurry, we havn’t much time.” the Historian spoke with authority. Raeven grabbed him by the shoulder, “What the f*ck is going on? What did you mean back at the club that Zaeo is an elder, and who is Zepharia?” “Raeven, there is a war that will soon erupt. The humans will be powerless to stop them.” “How do we stop them?” “Zaeo and Aeitheina were brother and sister, Zaeo has this very sick sexual fury. He doesn’t care who or when, he raped Aeitheina and she give birth to a full blooded vampire. His name is Akuma.”
“Jesus Christ! You couldn’t have told us this before?!” “Now they will not only be trying to wipe out the human race but they will stop at all cost to kill you and Raiyne.” “Why Raiyne?” “She is a halfblood like you.” The Historian pulled a very thick book off the shelf, poured some wine. Raiyne, David, and Raeven all helped themselves to some wine as well. “We have less time than I thought, Raeven has Raiyne drank your blood yet?” “Yes, I don’t get it.” Raiyne spoke up rather rudely, “I don’t know what the f*ck is going on or who the f*ck you are but I better start getting some answers.” “SILENCE!” the Historian boasted. “Come and read this for yourself Raiyne.”
She walked to the open book and read, “For one house must fall into the sun as the bloody Rains fall, covering the streets as a crimson river. And in these final days the Ravens will fly above the battlefield singing their victory song high above. The world consider ye warned on the 12th day of the 12th month of the 12th year a rage of 2000 years will be unleashed from it’s confined pits in the bowels of the earth.”
“More riddles, f*ck man give us something hard to go on.” David exclaimed sarcastically. Raiyne whispered, “I get it, Me and Raeven are supposed to stop this army that Zaeo, Akuma, and Zepharia are assembling.” David obviously agitated said, “That all fine and f*cking dandy but we don’t even know when or where this is going to happen.” Raeven looked at the book, “Yes we do, in three days. It says the 12th day of the 12th month in the 12th year a rage of 2000 years will be unleashed.” The Historian smiled his gratefulness at Raeven’s suggestion as her and Raiyne said together, “December 12th of 2012.”
The Historian picked up Raeven’s newly redesigned sword and tossed it to her and one to Raiyne. “The bloody Raiynes will fall and the Raevens will fly.” the Historian sited as he walked to a recessed portion of the wall, “This is why Aeitheina left her two suits of armor with me, said her daughters would need it one day?” The girls looked at the blackened military style armor as Raeven spoke, “We have a war to win.”
