The autobiography of the living legend himself. Destined to save mankind! |
Life of a Legend so far - An Autobiography by Lucas Horn Chapter 1 - Humble Beginnings It was the year 2599, and the human resistance was almost stomped out. The robots were going to win. Luckily, the human resistance had one thing the robots did not however, a device that could alter one event in history. Acting in haste, they decided to force the conception of one child in 1991. One man who would some day rise up and lead humanity on a new course, preventing the robots from ever being conceived, and create a utopia. That young man is me, and this is my story so far. With a load WWWWWRRRYYYYYYYY the timeline alteration device spat into the past, and caused two individuals working for the air force in New Mexico to fall for one another. He was the hot shot fighter pilot, and she was the ace photographer. They had nothing in common and should have never stayed together longer than a week. BUT IT WAS WILLED BY THE FUTURE. And such, I was conceived. Fast Forward a few months in a small Mississppi, a woman was in labor. There was no room in the inn, so she had to give birth at the hospital. As the moment of the start of humanity's redemption drew near, the staff crowded the small room. They wanted to see it, the birth of the one who could save them from the robots. In the future. That they didn't know of. Anyways, they watched, and finally, the angels sang in an immaculate chorus, and I was born. "Let's name him Luke, possible English for Lucius, which is short for Lucifer, which is short of Bringer of Light" my mother explained (or so I assume) and from then on I was named Luke. Then, at that moment, a concerned looking man barged in. Some would know him as the singer of British metal band Iron Maiden. He grabbed baby Luke and stared into its eyes and began to sing" "Today is born the chosen one Born of human woman He has the power to heal He has the gift of the second sight He is the chosen one So it shall be written So it shall be done" And on this night, the stars blared in unison to illustrate the skies that some day, that child would rule over. In a good way. End Chapter 1 |
