Talks of love and happiness
SONG OF THE BABY LARK

In a forest, there were many large trees
Full of leaves, nests and larks
Among them was a high tree full of foliage
In that foliage of green leaves, was a small nest
World of a lark family.
Mother, father and the lovely baby lark.
They lived there in the warmth of happiness
The father flew daily and brought back food grains
The mother flew daily and mended the nest
The baby lark tried to fly and sang every moment
Small and lovely she was, sweet was her voice
Joy was her habit, pleasant was her company
Most beloved she was among all larks
She sang and sang and sang
And they all lived together happily
In those woods, wandered a soul
It liked the baby lark very much
It caressed her with it’s love and blessings
And always listened to her singing with joy
Soon the baby lark started flying
She flew across the mountain and river
Pang of youth filled her with new form of life
She needed love, she was grown up
Across the river lived the prince lark
Alone, full of life and youth
His nest needed someone to wait for him
One day they met, and she followed her
She came to his nest, and made it her new world
And they started a new life, to live together
Soon the nest was filled with joyous cries of lovely chicks
But the baby lark was not happy, she would not sing any more
The prince flew in high skies with other larks
Came back without any grain, without any warmth
While in his nest, he thought of other lovely larks
And waited for next morning to fly again
Baby lark was broken,
Her craving for love turned in to tears of despair
She would not smile, she would not welcome him
She would not play with the chicks, she would not sing
Life went on, nobody heard her pain
One day the soul passed by her new home
It saw her pain, it felt her pain, it was filled with remorse
It remembered the small lovely baby lark and cried for her
It went to her and adjured with the soft heart
O lovely lark you own this small world
He comes back to you, because he is yours
Welcome him, fill this world of yours with your smiles
Play with the chicks, fill this world of yours with joy
Do not curse him, offer your love
And he will come to you, all yours
Keep hope in your breaths, hope till you breathe
She wanted to be happy again, so she tried
She welcomed him with smiles
She played with the chicks
Mended her nest with colorful feathers and lovely leaves
Collected grains and served to all with smiles
She cared for him, her chicks and her small world
With longing to be happy again, she tried her best
Ah, the days showed a change
The nest was filled with joyous cries of the chicks
He still flew in the high skies
Now thinking of her and their small chicks
Waited for his return to his small world
Waited for the warmth of her smiles
Waited for the joyous cries of their chicks
In the mornings, he wanted to go out to bring home grains
To come back home with something for his small world
The nest was now filled with clamour of smiles, happiness and love
The baby lark was happy again, she was living again
She started again singing the songs
Song of life, song of happiness, song of love
She sang and sang and sang
Her sweet happy voice was heard across the woods
It reached to the wandering soul
The soul caressed her again with its love and blessings
Filled with fragrance of her happiness
It moved on, along the winds.
