Under the shade of light

under the shade of light;
it starts with words,
collides and leaves you with records,
leaves you with memories of sorrow.
you tried living like an angel with a halo
but you ended up with a heart completely hollow.
what can you do, you're just trying to be a hero.

in war, you struggled but you survived,
you looked forward for another day and strived.
you were God loving but again you stated war.
you had too much pride, and the devil within you allied.
you called yourself guidance and you surely were once,
but now you're in the devil's essence.
you're blind and deaf,
words don't reach your ears and justice you ignore with winning cheers.
man has surely changed in all these years,
but there still are a few of you in numbers living in God's fear.
