Springy-sproingy scallions jump,
in emerald circus rings.
Singy-songy robins bump,
the ground with feet and wings.
Sassy-frassy rooty shoots,
fragrant in the breeze,
Fuzzy-wuzzy bunnies scoot,
near mossy-footed trees.
Splishy-splashy water calls
from creeks and riverbeds.
Trickly-dripply frothy falls,
on froggy tails and fishy heads.
Slimy-shiny black and red,
Look quick to get a gander.
On twisty-bendy tiny feet,
the sun-shy salamander.
Daffy-laughy yellow cups,
bend to the softest light.
Lilac-shellac of hyacinth,
gives off perfume delight.
Peachy skies like juicy pies,
dessert for soul and heart.
Beezy-buzzy lullabies,
Spring's off to a great start!
Isaiah 61:11-
For as the earth bringeth forth her bud,
and as the garden causeth the things
that are sown in it to spring forth;
so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness
and praise to spring forth before all the nations
