         glistened wet.
Traveling toward the edge of luster light.
Horizon at the bare break of dawn.

Approaching a place to peer and ponder,
         a place close, yet unreachable.
Thoughts near, and unthinkably far.

Searching for a poised sound,
         perhaps a hushed noise,
soft and soothing to those who slumbered.

Remembering morning moments of before,
         placid pauses to consider,
essential peace preferred.

         re-kindling old possibilities,
