An Ode To E

My chosen family and I unite,
And break free from our daily plight,
Everyone is a friend swimming in love,
Over the daily grind we sail above.

No problems or worries, No need to care,
All that matters are the moments we share,
No paranoia or jealousy, No lies or hate,
The fast paced drum mirrors my heart rate.

No such thing as sadness or sorrow,
As we dance like there is no tomorrow,
My body is drenched in an Ecstasy rain,
In a pool of new ideas bathes my brain.

Anxieties lost, Inhibitions gone,
Smiling and laughing through the sight of dawn,
This warm euphoria completely consumes me,
I'm a pie-eyed pirate on a chemical sea.
