A poem about a dream I had.
I stood there and watched you laugh and smile,
And I did the same for a while,
We were young and so alive,
This love would always survive,
The lilies were all white,
The sun shined so bright,
There was such innocence in our kiss,
The world was full of bliss,
We held each others hands,
And ran all over these lands,
There was no end in sight,
All the world felt right,
But then came the rising sun,
And then there was no more fun,
When I opened my eyes,
All of it had been lies,
In those fields my imagination grew wild,
But I was nothing more then a child,
Though as the dream died,
I rolled over in my bed and cried.
