A horrifying night in a B&B
Radiators groaned in pain as their insides were scalded, yet the room still froze

The eaves of the attic howled as the hurricane blew through them stirring the cobwebs

The chimney pots precariously started to crumble having been struck by lighting

And the doors creaked and slammed as the shutters banged

As Daisy lay in her bed



A lone wolf howled at the rain pelting down, yet no moon in the stormy sky

The trees threatened to topple and the leaves swirled, nowhere to go, trapped in a violent void

And the ghostly howl of her predecessors carried through the dark dense forest

Released from hell, their spirits banged and scratched at her window

As Daisy lay in her bed



Being eaten alive by bedbugs and cockroaches, her lily white skin a feast

Rats and mice lived in her mattress and ran over her naked body, their talons digging in

And the water and mold dripped through the damp ceiling to splash off her head

Blinding her eyes and up her nose along with the pungent smell of urine

As Daisy lay in her bed



“Next time we’re staying at a Holiday Inn ya cheap bastard”

Daisy turned to her husband and said
