You piece me patiently together
Give me eyes to see
Inside myself better.

I would have waited a lifetime,
Just to feel this way,
I’m so lucky this feeling
Took hold of me
the very first day.

The fates were aligned in one place
To bring us both together
To rectify the mistakes we made
When we didn’t know each other

Hesitantly you reached within
And gave a part of you to me
And I will do all I can to protect it for eternity,
