Take Another Look at the Cross

When troubles make your world seem at a loss,                                     
Just take another look at the cross.

Take a look at the blood flowing from his side,
And remember, with you He will forever abide.

Upon His head were thorns made into a crown,
Our problems are small, yet we wear a frown.

Next take a look at the nail scarred hands,
Remember for you this was planned.

When you cry out, oh Lord I can't take anymore,
Try counting the stripes on His back that He bore.

So if you think life isn't worth the cost,
Take another look at the cross.
