Waiting for a storm

Brooding Lonely with a storm in the heart,
Floating cloud, reflecting over your ocean.

Like her, curled into that bitter corner,
Staring into that mirror to see a tear shine.

Empty Skies and clear nights, sparkling stars,
Emotions dull, Lonely cloud wandering lost.

Numb eyes waiting for the salty drop,
Comfortable thoughts, never lost only vacant,

Sunrises forgotten, sunset's bliss forgotten,
As the lovely ocean forgets the hanging cloud.


In darkness and through all day,
Love forgot her, left stranded, life hanging,

Winds never blew, warmth forgoting this path,
Storm throbbing inside, thunder rolling.

No sweet whispers nor a warming hug,
Pain burnt her soul left her tears dry,

Beneath the starry heavens, above the watery paradise,
Floating lost like thoughts in her heart,

Inside the cruel corner, outside warm affection,
Wandering like a grey cloud without that storm.

Clouds in her heart, tears in the sky,
Waiting for some,
waiting for storms,
Drowning in sorrows, floating misunderstood,
life's moments lost,
Moments lost in life,
Like a shadow,
Like a cloud,
Waiting for a storm.
