What happened to her?

What happened to you?
Where did you go?
I used to know you,
But I don't anymore.

Something happened to her,
But I don't know what.
She used to be funny
And caring and kind,
But now she's turned into
Someone I don't recognize.

She used to make jokes
That would make us all laugh
Till we couldn't breathe,
But she won't anymore.

It's been a long time

We used to be friends,
We had lots of fun,
But that's all changed now.

I miss the way
She used to tease me,
And the way that her smile
Would light up a room.
Her smile's not like that,
It's hard to describe.
It's not cruel, exactly,
Just sort of distant.
When she smiles at all, that is.

She met someone else
That I guess she likes better,
Someone who is just like her.

I miss the girl I used to know,
I wish that I had her back.
But since I don't and never will,
I know I'll just have to move on.
But I wish that I could see,
Just one more time,
A glimpse of the girl I knew.
