"Peace and Love"

Peace is a feeling,
found very deep inside.
And if you are very careful,
in love it may reside.

But if you rush in,
much too fast.
Your true love,
may just walk right past.

If you do something too rash...
You may just as well rush in and crash....

Then what will you do,
all those times you need to talk?
How will you feel,
being alone on those contemplating walks?

So maybe you just wait,
for all those feelings to reside.
Wait until you have control,
until they are safe deep inside.

So that you can have that peace,
the peace you yearn for.
Maybe you should wait to be rich,
than rush in and become poor.

I would love to have that feeling of peace,
that comes with every love.
That feeling that you always associate,
with the white serene dove.

All in all, peace and love go hand in hand,
so let's all hold hands and make a stand!
