As a young child, or maybe a sapling to life, she would stop at the edge of the forest in front of the trees. She would stand there rooted to the ground. She would sway with the wind, she would shiver in the cold. Other kids would not be able to stand their ground, but she was rooted deep and she was strong. As she grew so did height along with her strength. She would continue to stand in her spot growing more rooted by the year. And through out her life she would loose little pieces of herself, but gain so much more. Her life branched out with experience and she was loved by the sun. She came to understand that while she saw brown and green others, but not all saw black and white. She stayed in her spot until one day she fell. She was old and brittle and the wind had a mighty force that day. And so she was no longer rooted, no longer mighty or strong, no longer anywhere. But with her death brought life to a young sapling that grew in her spot and become just as mighty and just as strong.
