A short poem about a myterious, creepy stalker |
One night I was strolling, Through the williow trees, When I heard a whisper, In the cool evening breeze. "My sweet,"he said "My love I must share." When I turned to see him, There was nobody there. I am imagining things, I thought with a shrug, Then came a gusty wind, I gave me a hug. I contnued to walk, Beneathe the bright full moon, When he whispered again, "You will be mine soon," I looked quickly around, I was the only one here, But I know what I heard My heart beat with fear. I began to run, Like never before, When I finally stopped, At a sandy beach shore. "My darling" He whispered, "You cannot run." And why would you want to?" "The fun's just begun." "Who are you?" I screamed, "Show yourself to me." "If you love me so much, Why cant I see." "I am always with you", he said with a sigh, "You cannot escape me, So don't even try." "Who are you" I repeated "Step into the light," I cannot my dear, for Im a creature of night." "And you, my sweet, you will be my queen," And wear the most beautiful crown, The world has ever seen." Then he grapped me rough, With an invisible hand, My whole body weakened, As I hit the sand. I was dead, I thougt, This is the end of my tale, I belonged to this demon, He was taking me to Hell. Then all of a sudden, There was sun on my face I woke and looked round, At a comforting place. I was in my room, It had just be a dream, It did not happen, As real as it seemed. But as quickly as the relief came, I filled with dread When I saw sand on my feet, And all over my bed |
