THE CHANGE APPROACHING!

The leaves from the tress
In my front yard
Are beginning to fall off
Everything around here is getting altered
Including me including my life
It’s hard to get a hold on...while there’s still time

Seems like yesterday when I entered this place
It wasn’t just a place...I had entered a new world
There was so much to learn …so much to know
A lot of me was yet to grow

The first friendship...the first fight...the first crush
Each did not have a smart beginning
But that was the fun that we realized later on
Because how can the dawn come
Before the rise of the sun

There were times when we stood united...
There were times when we were divided
But with all the anger, love, dismay, betray
Never did we hesitate to wish the other happy birthday

Some were guarded, some were jolly
Some were the criers…while others were party crashers
“I am the best” was the mind’s outside cover
But everyone knows how much each had discovered.
Even though we belonged to the same place
The variety though can never be replaced

The class bunking...the mischief…the scolding…the not bothering
Everything has its own corner of memories
May have looked at start very snobbish
But little did we know that these were the times we would cherish

I wish school would never end
Because no where would you find such unity such strength
Because the outside life is all about how you handle yourself
With the hurry and the tedious scenes
No one would even have time to wish happy Halloween

Just few days away from the end
I begin to wonder
Even though I know about the fate that I am anticipating
Will I be strong enough the face the change approaching
