Ode To The Odious

Lucifer, fallen angel so long ago
You had so much, but demanded more
You robbed and killed, reap as you sow
With you, my Master settles the score

I am but a servant here
Of flesh and blood I am made
Sure you are stronger than mere
Man, but it is you who are afraid

When time comes to its end
I will be with my Master forever
You, however will then descend
To be punished forever and ever

For every one you take away
Ripping waves of pain through
The hearts that mourn night and day
You and yours will forever know too

For every disease that you succeed
In inflicting us with to destroy us
Each one will be a planted seed
That will bloom for you things torturous

For every heart that breaks
For every uttered hateful curse
Your fate will be the snake’’s
That you once used - but worse

For every sadistic, evil grin
Enjoy the pleasure while you may
Growing stronger amid your sin
And those who participate every day

Your children, fear, worry, and stress
That erodes our peace and joy so well
Leave so many lives such a mess
Later, they will all join you in Hell

There are greed, lust, and many more
They’ll all join you in that day
That day our Mightiest Lord
Will forevermore cast you away

Forever in darkness, forever in pain
You’ll remember all that you’ve done
You’ll especially remember the one name
His name forever: you messed with God’s Son

Remember each moment you gave pain
In your constant efforts to seize us
Remember forever that crimson stain
And those of us who follow Jesus!
