Revival of the people of God and resurrection from the dead
We are living a life between the already...but not yet. Tension in our lives comes from operating and conducting our lives in the part, not the full. Sadducees in Jesus' day did not believe in the resurrection and especially not in the power of God to bring about the resurrection. We as believers have that hope of resurrectioin; and burying our dead insted of cremation speaks of that hope. Our body dying is not the end of anything. Death is only separation from a perishable body so that we can be resurrected to an "imperishable" or immortal body. The earth will "give birth" to her dead. Daniel prophesied of multiples of people rising from the dead. Believers only sleep, they do not die. Believers are raised indestructible and in glory and power. We do not have to live a life of frustration. We can have that new life now through the power of Jesus' resurrection from the dead and throught he revival of His peopole. Revival is God demonstrating the promise of that future--now! Revival is life coming back to the half dead. It is the promised power of the Holy Spririt given right now! That promise of eternal life, through healings, miracles and heart changes in God's people.
