A Kids Point Of View!

Being a child is so much fun,
Playing and dancing out in the sun.
Making adults laugh is what we do,
But making them cry, we can do that too.
Growing up in a city,
Would be such a big pity,
Lucky I grew up on a farm,
Otherwise I wouldn’t know string from yarn.
When your 21,
Is it much fun?
Cause’ when you a kid,
You laugh at Sid,
But when you an adult,
You don’t laugh not even a fault.
And you can sit on Daddy’s lap anytime and drive the car,
But when you’re older you have to have a licence by far.
And when you’re older you don’t have much spare time,
But when you’re a kid you’re all out of the line.
We have to follow rules,
But not so many that make us drool.
And when you turn 18,
I heard you go through plenty of mood swings!
Plenty of people wish for childhood again,
But I reckon it would be a like a mission began.
But without the fighting and wars,
Us kids don’t tend to put make-up in our skin pores.
When you 18 you can drink right?
But being a kid is worth the fight.
And Mum teaches us how to cook,
While Dad teaches us about sinker and hook,
When I grow up I want to be a rock star,
To prove to them that I can get that far,
Gee I’m glad I’m still young,
Cause’ we have way more fun!
