At a Gain for Words

Few can describe what he is feeling now,

this man you see before you,

is losing as much sense of reality,

that his mind will allow,

dark ghastly creatures plague his grief stricken mind,

creeping about, never leaving their confines,

someday these demons will be defeated with ease,

but until then all he can do is tease,

himself with thoughts of happiness and bliss,

only to find there is something that is lost,

a divine figure that he will for sure miss,

there are clouds of nostalgia that blind him with ignorance,

with the occasional appearance of sunshine in her smile,

that procures a world where everything seems to make sense.
