RAIN AND SUNSET As I sat on the toilet seat pondering, looking weak and weary, I reminisced on our romantic witty language, sounding soft but grimy We were friends but more than lovers Intimacy confirmed we were no strangers Whenever I held you in my arms it was the perfect match Whenever you winked at me, my heart told me “you were the perfect catch” You were the merchandise I’d never trade “I love you “is just the word I never said “Meeting you in the garden” was my last chance I’d hoped I’d not mess up this time and fall in a trance Why? That’s because you didn’t just have a pretty face but a beautiful soul Only spirits could see the purity of your being that glowed And so I stripped off the petals of that wondrous blue rose Coincidental fluke “she loves me” as I read this strange prose With the last petal on the stem, I clenched in your fist To tell you those magic words and so many others as this The day was beclouded with rainfall, Twas the perfect moment To kiss, dance and make love under the rains current Knock! Knock! Knock! I gotta use the toilet Oh!!!!!!!!! This dude just came in between my rain and the sunset |
