To Dreams Nightmarish We Nightly Go. |
Darkest Sleep To sleep, to darkness, We nightly go, And dreams, nightmarish, Our night may know. A door, ajar, We watch in fear, So close, so far, Out of sight or near, In days it sleeps, Unseen by all, Our screams it keeps, Our nightmares enthral. The closet, a darkness, An unknown we know, Breeds dreams, nightmarish, As, to sleep, we go. A door, ajar, We sleep so near, Through it, it comes, To feast on our fear. Nightmares it drinks, Most ancient of beasts, Its teeth it sinks, A most terrible of feasts. To evil, to darkness, We nightly go, And dreams, nightmarish, Our night will know. |
