The Balance of Chaos Contest Entry
Z'phora green sat upon her knees reading beneath the grove of trees
The light was bright as she could see the words written before her eyes
When you possess light within you, you see it externally
Stretching out with her feeling she felt the coming storm approaching, it gave her an unease
Nature spoke: Karma isn't coming for my ass .... it's coming for yours
Z'phora stood up straightened her pink dress and walked as the storm crashed down
Light was shattered, darkness surronds no beacon to be found, Z'phora stretched out again
On the road ahead there was a dark man standing amidst the chaos
Z'phora ran to him, down the tracks, knowing she would never be lost
But the man was elusive, not wanting to be found, shut off his feelings to the world
Z'phora stopped, laid on the ground, and cried one single tear
The man realize that for every dark there needs to be a light
So the man walked towards her, gave her his hand and a sly smile to one side
Together they kissed and combined their souls to drive away the chaotic storm
The clouds disipated, sun shone again, and mother earth sprang back to life.
The man and Z'phora looked deep into each others eyes and both knew what needed to be done
So softly, slowly, one by one they turned from each other, walked away
Until they were needed again to quiet the storm.
Z'phora went back to her meditation place, the man back to the road
Only their spirits were connected to balance the Darness with the Light.
