Never Again

When Genocide happened they said “Never Again”,

11million people died back then.

Now, once again, Rwanda, Darfur, Genocide is back today,

What happened to “Never Again”, we thought it went away!



Thousands of people have died and they said “It’s just a little tiff”.

Little boys and girls getting struck in the head,

People running and screaming, with limbs cut off, bleeding to death.

The Hutus screaming and shouting “Don’t let them get away!”



They said “Never Again”                                                                             

They said “It’s just a little tiff”.

Now, look, millions of people have died, once again,

“Never Again” they chanted, but look what happened.



The first time, Genocide happened, they said it was the last,

They thought people were in peace, they thought they learned from their past.

When it happened the second time they thought it would be over

Quick, but, I guess they tried to look the other way, that is why Darfur is happening today!
