A story full of spense and action. |
Amicitia ran down the bone white corridor her long bleached blonde hair trailing behind her. She pushed past the crowd that was watching her sprint down the corridor, not caring if she hurt anyone getting out of the school. She reached the front door and groaned in distress as she saw him standing there waiting for her. She spun on her heels and ran as fast as her legs would allow her, to the fire exit. As she reached the fire exit door a dark skinned stepped through a broad grin on his face. 'Keep running' he said quietly. Amicitia decided to change tactics. She feigned turning around before attacking. She had been doing marshal arts since she was a young child and her kick was the fastest she had done in her entire life. The full force of her kick smacked the dark skinned man across the face and he was stunned as he hit the floor. Amicitia knew that he was going to get up if she stood there so ran as fast as she could through the fire escape door. She barely recognised that the entire corridor had gone quite as she ran through the fire escape door. She ran through the labelled corridors of the fire escape door, the signs pointing her to the exit. She reached the exit door and threw it open to reveal the bright sun of a summers day. The exit had lead her to the schools car park. She saw her second hand Ford Fiesta. She ran towards it eager to get out of the school grounds and away from her followers. She managed to get half way to her car before the shooting started. The dark skinned man had reached the fire exit and was shooting at her with a long black pistol which he held confidently his eyes trailing her every step. Amicitia dove behind an old truck just before the bullets whizzed past her head. The shooting stopped and she could hear the dark skinned mans footsteps as he got closer. Amicitia stood up and prepared to run away when a hard and angry voice rang out ' Take another step bitch and i will put a bullet in you'. 'What do you want from me' Amicitia's voice rang out the hysteria obvious. 'You don’t know?' The man asked generally curious. 'Of course not you two just pop up out of no were chasing me!' Amicitia's voice was almost a shriek now. ‘Two? There wasn’t –.’ The tires shrieked as the black Lamborghini roared across the car park towards the stand off. The black lamoginghi ran into the dark skined man and he was thrown nearly twenty meters towards the school were he was stopped by a brick wall. ‘Get in!’ yelled a fair skinned man no younger then twenty five. Amicitia didn't hesitate as she dove into the open door. The only thing she cared about was getting away from the shooter. The Lamborghini tore down the short road as they accelerated away from the school. Amicitia had to duck her head as more bullets were shot at her. When they were free from the school, Amicitia yelled ' stop, stop , stop!'. The dark haired mans only response was to go faster. Different approach ' Please, I didn't do anything wrong, just let me go, I wont tell anyone!'. He looked at her with the edges of his eyes. ‘I’m not the bad guy’ was his only response. She looked at him confused, she didn't think he was. The car left the city and headed along the freeway with out stopping. ‘Were are you taking me?' she asked. ‘Some were safe.’ he replied with nearly no tone in his voice. 'Are you going to let me go?' 'It’s not safe anymore'. There was silence for a minute. ‘Are…’ Amicitia’s voice shuddered. ‘Are you going to kill me?’ she whispered. ‘No offcourse not…’ he said ‘I’m not the bad guy’ * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * They were still travelling in the sleek convertible when the sun had sunken below the horizon and they were covered in total darkness. She shivered as the ice cold wind blew into the car. She was freezing and wore only her white school uniform. She had been watching him for hours and knew every inch of him by now. Which was crazy because she didn’t even know his name. He wore Black wrap around glasses and a thick black leather jacket. ‘Can we stop...? I’m freezing' Amicitia asked softly unsure wether to feel safe or petrified. He took off his black leather jacket passing it to Amicitia. She put on the thick leather jacket and found a more comfortable position on the leather seat, which wasn’t hard the car was built for luxury! She knew her eyes were drooping the moment she laid her head on the soft leather interior, and with a few minutes she was deep asleep. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * When she woke up she felt oddly dizzy and still very tired. She lifted her head and examined the room she was in. There was a stack of old tool boxes in the corner leaning against a couple of fuel cans. There was an automatic garage door behind her and a wooden door just outside the Lamborghini. She undid the buckle on her seat belt, and left the Lamborghini. She didn’t realise how dizzy she was until she stood up and nearly collapsed as she did, tripping over the tool boxes, scattering the tools all over the garage. She stood up this time much more timidly, and took a few step towards the door. The door swung open just as she reached the door. A large bald man stepped forwards ‘Hello little girl’ He said a, malicious grin on his face. ‘Who are you’ she spluttered nervously’. ‘A friend, but enough with questions. Come with me’ He said taking a step away from the door to let her in. Amicitia took a few steps forwards and almost tripped again , stumbling against the door. Just as she got her balance she was pushed sharply in the back by the large bald man. ‘Move it bitch’ He yelled his voice no longer friendly. She moved a little faster but was still stumbling. She was lead down a Dark corridor into a small pale white room, with two chairs and one small desk, which reminded her of an interrogation room. She was put on a chair and told to remain there; she heard the door click locked shut behind her. Now she was scared. She sat in utter silence not moving not breathing her head hurting and feeling very dizzy. A few minutes past until she heard the door unlocking and a man stepped in. The man was a unhealthy thin and very pale, he wore a dark black suit and Dark black glasses. He sat down quietly on the other chair opposite to her. He stared straight into her eyes in a very cold and expressionless way which scared her worse then anything else. ‘Do you know why you are here Amicitia?’ He said his voice like ice. ‘n – No’ she said in a quiet whisper. ‘How well did you know your twin Amicitia’? Tears welled in her eyes as she remembered her sisters dieing face in the hospital bed. ‘Very well sir’ she murmured the pain in her mind echoed in her voice ‘Then you know about her … ‘Talents’ ’ He said oblivious to her pain. She shivered. Yes she knew. She knew what her sister could do and what it had done to her. Amicitia’s hand traced the burn marks on her left shoulder. ‘Yes… Yes I know about them’ she whispered, her eyes brimming with tears. ‘How well do you know yours?’ He said something undefinable in his voice almost eagerness. ‘Mine?’ she mouthed. ‘You don’t know?’ He said the eagerness more distinct ‘Don’t know what? I …. I have powers?’. The pale man smiled a cruel smile, ‘ you have just made it that much easier my dear’ he said. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TO BE CONTINUED |
