The Raspberry's maneuver nudged a Lemon into
a Pineapple debate with the Grapes who
did not want the Fig, the Plum, or the Date
engaging a brazen Banana

Then clustered Current cries mixed with puffy
Papaya pouts and they both
threatened to turn Pomegranates
red insides out

Strawberry and Blueberry threw off
Lime colored stares at the
Apple and the Cranberry's
seasonal affair

While high flying Coconut looks
on without care Avocado's bravado
drives the Kiwi away
into the arms of a Pear

And now Guava and Kumquat
and Rhubarb are blue, as King
Orange has just told them
they would only be useful
if cooked into stew
