I actually wrote this last year.
Alone doesn't work anymore;
not when the world's turned it's back on me.
Alone doesn't hurt anymore,
It's just not the same that it used to be.
I've not been this way forever;
but I'll be this way forever more.
Can't let you get too close to me;
what would you think of my history?
Good thing alone doesn't hurt anymore.
Pity alone doesn't work anymore.
