Indifferent

Crawling through her life, incomplete

Incompetent



Nestled in the green

Unseen,

Content with discontentment,

Spurred by a fleeting feeling,

Seeking meaning

Fulfilment.



Flowers

Rainbows everywhere,

Suffocation in fresh air.

Desperate need

To be freed -

No care to eat, sleep or breathe



Passion explosion

Release,

Transition, escape, reprieve,

Cocoon of life set her free,

Fluttering by

In mind’s eye.



Translucent, luminous dawn,

Embellished feelings of strength

Granted the freedom to her -

Soar the sky

With confidence.

She is now Red Butterfly.
