I had you for a moment
I had him for a moment;
I had him in my arms.
I could even feel his heart beat,
I was breathing in his charm.

I was holding his strong hand,
His fingers feeling mine.
His kisses landed softly;
His love was just sublime.

I had him for a moment,
And in a moment he was gone;
But I still feel him near me,
And his love does linger on.
