At one time or another we are all Planted in Apathy. What is and what could be...
Holding back,
Scared to be me.
For no reason,
With the things I see.

I know I might,
And should do more.
But for me,
Or something more?

I know I am,
I think I want,
I have a thirst.
To drink, or not?

Planted in apathy,
Fed by the rain,
With no new season,
False green I remain.

Striving to emerge,
Evolutions surge.
Inherited  weakness,
Now I may purge.

No holding back,
Not scared to be me,
Now with reason,
Live to be free.

Insight in life,
Now all that I see.
Eyes without strife,
Two buzzing bees.

Now I'm ready,
Ready for action,
Not held down,
By hating faction.

Running progression,
Fuel of past pain,
Now with new day,
Change keeps me sane.

Embracing Struggle,
I know I'm alive,
With new awareness,
I will survive.
