I Feel Trapped

I feel stuck
Trapped in a world
where everyone sees only part of me
The rest is just a mirror of their self
I am unknowable
I want to shake them
Yell at them
“Look at me!”
But they can’t see
I am incomprehensible
“I need help.”
With what, I do not know
How can anyone help?
I am untouchable
They don’t understand
Nor do I
I just know what I feel
Pain
Stinging in my eyes
Pounding in my head
“Please!”
I shake
I want them to know me
To hold me up
I’m falling
I hurt
I am exhausted from the tears
They leak out
Again and again
I feel alone
