Sonic: The Legend of Enset Prologue

Long ago was a time where there was no day or night with no blinding darkness, or blazing light. There was only twilight--just twilight. Everybody lived happy lives. In this time, there was a god that looked after the world of Mobius. This god was the one person who kept the world in twilight. His name, was Enset the Twilight. He was a kind and fair god. He was also very powerful. As time passed, however, he became weak. He feared that he would soon lose his power and no longer be able to keep the world in it's twilight state. So, he used his power to create an Emerald. an Emerald that would keep the world in perfect balance. It was later called the Twilight Emerald.

However, word spread about the Emerald's creation. Some people became greedy and sought the Emerald's power for themselves. Enset bonded the Emerald with his own soul. This meant that if anyone tried to get the Twilight Emerald, they would have to deal with Enset. No-one dared challenge the power of a god. During the war between the Nocturnus Clan and the Knuckles Clan, the Knuckles Clan created an Emerald to give them strength.

However, the Twilight Emerald and the Knuckles Emerald could not coexsist. They had very negative effects. The Twilight Emerald broke into two, while the Knuckles Emerald broke into seven. And because Enset's soul was connected to the Twilight Emerald, he broke into two as well! He and his Emerald were seperated into light and dark, white and black. The half of the Emerald that controlled light became the Light Emerald(It was a white color), and the half of Enset that controlled light became Light Enset(Light-En). The half of the Emerald that controlled darkness became the Dark Emerald(It was a black color), and the half of Enset that controlled darkness became Dark Enset(Dark-En). Because of this, day and night were created.

As for the war, when the Knuckles Emerald was broken to seven peices, it caused an alternate dimension to open up in the sky. That dimension devoured all of the Nocturnus Clan, and it disappeared without a trace. Since the world's peaceful twilight disappeared along with the Nocturnus, the alternate dimension was forever named: The Twilight Cage. The Knuckles Clan quickly created a new Emerald to conceal the powers of the shattered Knuckles Emerald. It stopped the cataclysm and put the Emerald in peace. Due to their awesome power, the shattered pieces of the Knuckles Emerald were later named the Chaos Emeralds. The Emerald that consoled the Chaos Emeralds was named the Master Emerald.

As for Light-En and Dark-En, they began to fight. Light-En wanted to become whole once again, but Dark-En wanted to remain seperated. Sooner or later, they became weak. Their bodies vanished into their respective Emeralds. For years they were trapped within the Light and Dark Emeralds with the denizens of the world able to do with them as they please.

What will happen to Light-En and Dark-En? Will Enset become whole again? What's going to happen to the Knuckles Clan? All will be revealed in this new story of the legendary Blue Blur!
