Thoughts of You

walking in the world one day
i thought i saw a bird of prey
flying high up in the sky
then i saw a butterfly
landing on a flower of red
then afluttering to my head
the wind blew high in the trees
and there were several bumblebees
the ants they scurried all around
here and there upon the ground
over a stream and up a hill
i could never get my fill
there i laid upon the grass
thoughts of you coming to pass
wishing you were by my side
in this beautiful countryside
in this world i'll always stay
right beside you all the way
and as you can plainly see
best of friend's we'll always be
